18 to 24 months.
Does it hurt?
No injectable treatment is completely pain-free, but most patients find the Radiesse Butt Lift quite tolerable. We do everything we can to keep you comfortable, and will numb the buttocks fully with lidocaine before treatment. Radiesse also contains lidocaine, which further numbs as it is injected.
Is the Radiesse Butt Lift safe?
Yes, when administered by a qualified medical professional Radiesse is considered a safe treatment. Additionally, the buttocks area is lower risk for complications compared to other areas of the body. Radiesse’s safety profile is well-established for people with healthy immune systems, and it’s been FDA approved since 2006.
As with any aesthetic procedure, it’s essential to see a licensed and experienced injector with the knowledge and skill to properly and safely inject Radiesse.
How is Radiesse different from Dermal Filler?
The key differences lie in their composition and mechanisms of action: Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid and restore volume immediately when injected, typically lasting 6 to 18 months.
Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) suspended in a gel carrier which immediately lifts, then gradually stimulates collagen production further enhancing skin structure and texture over time, lasting 28 to 24 months.
