Does it hurt?
No energy based treatment is completely pain-free, but most patients find plasma IQ treatments tolerable. We do everything we can to keep you comfortable. We apply topical numbing cream before each treatment, and nitrous oxide, or happy gas, is available upon request.
How Does Plasma IQ Fibroblast Therapy Work?
Plasma IQ is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a handheld device to deliver focused plasma energy to the skin’s surface. By ionizing nitrogen gas in the air, the device creates a plasma arc that forms micro-injuries, causing sublimation (turning the epidermis from solid to gas) and immediate skin tightening.
These micro-injuries stimulate fibroblast activity, boosting collagen and elastin production over weeks to months, which further tightens and smooths the skin.
