- Schedule your treatment at least two weeks prior to events. This allows time for any redness, swelling or bruising to heal.
- Prepping your skin with medical grade skin care products for 4 weeks beforehand will promote skin healing and enhance your results.
- Let the provider know if you have a history of cold sores.
How Can I enhance my microneedling treatment?
Microneedling opens micro-channels in the skin that boost product absorption. Here are our favorite enhancements to pair with Microneedling.
- PRF to boost collagen and promote healing. +$150
- BioRe Peel to brighten complexion and soften fine lines. +$200
- Sculptra to supercharge collagen production and rejuvenate skin. +$400
When will I see results?
1 week, with results peaking around 3 months.
How long will results last?
Results are permanent. For the best results a series of 3 is recommended. Yearly maintenance treatments are essential for maintenance.
Does it hurt?
Most patients find microneedling very tolerable. You may feel slight discomfort in sensitive areas such as the hairline and around the upper lip. Topical numbing cream is applied for treatments to keep you comfortable.
What is the difference between Microneedling and RF Microneedling?
Both treatments stimulate collage and improve skin quality. The key differences lie in their mechanism and intensity: microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro-punctures that trigger your skin’s healing response and stimulate collagen and elastin production.
RF Microneedling combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. The needles deliver energy, or heat, directly into the skin which amplifies collagen and elastin production more intensely than microneedling alone, and has the added benefit of skin tightening.
