A Bride’s Essential Skincare Plan

Your wedding day is approaching and you deserve to look stunning and feel confident. We’re here to help with the perfect plan for wedding ready skin in just 8 weeks.

Treatment Plan Summary

  1. IPL / BBL Photofacial
  2. Hydrafacials
  3. Microinfusion
  4. Botox Treatment with a Touch Up
  5. Medical Grade Skincare, of course

8 Weeks Before

Start with an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or BBL (BroadBand Light) photofacial. These treatment target pigmentation, sunspots, and redness to clarify your skin tone and brighten your complexion, making your skin look and feel more even (almost like you’ve applied a filter to your face).

If you’re already, you’ll need to start using a medical grade skincare line. All skincare is not created equally and while you can find good products at your local drugstore, they are not going to contain the highly effective and quality ingredients of skincare like ZO, Revision, or Skin Better. The key here a consistent skincare routine with high-quality products keep your soon-to-be bridal skin healthy and improve the results from treatments.

We like to start with the daily essentials, then add targeted products to address specific concerns as needed.

Skincare Daily Essentials

  • Cleanser
  • Exfoliator
  • Moisturizer
  • Sunscreen

6 Weeks Before

It’s time to smooth away those fine lines and wrinkles with Botox. Here’s how to time your Botox before a wedding to make sure the results are perfect on wedding day.

Start with your first Botox treatment 6 weeks before the wedding. Plan to come back 2 weeks after your initial treatment for a recheck and any touchups if needed. Why 2 weeks? Well, Botox can take up to 14 days to reach full effect. Starting 6 weeks out ensures that we have time for a touch up if necessary and for the Botox to be at full effect on your big day.

3 Weeks Before

HydraFacial & Botox Recheck

HydraFacials gently cleanse, unclog pores and nourish your skin. This will soothe inflammation to brighten your complexion, super hydrate your skin leaving you with that dewy, glowing look for perfect bridal skin. And most importantly it will help clear up and prevent breakouts – because let’s face it, weddings can be stressful.

This is also where you would get a Botox recheck if you received it at the 6 week mark.

2 Weeks Before

Microinfusion time.

Microinfusion uses micro-needles to deliver a custom blend of serums deep into your skin. We call this the red carpet facial. It softens fine lines, reduces pore size, and super hydrates the skin.

The results are beautiful. Take a selfie before and a week after to see the difference.

1 Week Before

One final HydraFacial to cleanse, calm and get your glow on.

Best of luck on your big day and congratulations from everyone at ElaMar!

Bonus Tips for Maintaining Radiant Skin

  1. Hydrate. Drink plenty of water daily.
  2. Eat Clean. Think whole foods. Protein, fruit and vegetables. Minimize dairy, alcohol and sugar that cause inflammation.
  3. Manage Stress. We know this is a tough one! But do something for yourself to step away from the planning and to-do lists. Go for a walk, get a massage, whatever works for you.
  4. Sleep. Aim for 8 hours per night.

* If you’re reading this and you have less than 8 weeks until your wedding, don’t worry! We can still help. Give us a call and we’ll create a custom treatment plan for you.
