Client Spotlight: Discussing the Injection Experience with Casey

Our ultimate goal is to provide you with exceptional outcomes and exceptional experiences. We say it all the time, but we thought you might like to hear it from an actual ElàMar client.

Meet Casey. Casey has been a regular client for two years. She enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and on the lake near her home. She also loves aesthetics.

Casey graciously took some time to answer a few questions about her treatments and experience at ElàMar, and to give some advice to anyone considering starting their own aesthetic journey.

How did you get started on your aesthetics journey?

“My first encounter with aesthetics was during my mother’s consultation. I was just there for support, but after learning about lip filler I decided to go ahead and try it that day!”

Your mother’s consultation wasn’t at ElàMar, so how did you find out about us?

“ElàMar was recommended to me by a friend. She was just raving about you all so I decided to come see for myself. My first experience was incredible, and I haven’t been anywhere else since.”

How does ElàMar compare to where you went before?

“I really liked the practice I had been at. I didn’t have a bad treatment or anything like that. But the experience I had here was just incredible. ElàMar really raised the bar with its customer service. The staff is hands down the best; I can’t say enough good things about everyone. The whole staff is just so friendly and attentive. Dr. Gill especially is always professional and I feel like he really pays attention to the details. From the time I arrive to the time I walk out the door, it’s always a pleasant experience.”

Did you find anything unexpected the first time you received treatments from us?

“The first time I came in was for Botox and lip filler and I just loved the elegant numbing lounge and having my makeup touched up after my treatment. Both of those things were unique and great!”

Can you tell us about your Botox experience?

“My Botox results are always great. The treatment itself is a breeze. Dr. Gill is great. Needles can be intimidating but it really doesn’t hurt, during or after, and there’s no downtime, which is wonderful.”

What About Lip Filler?

“Lip filler is definitely more painful than Botox, but you all always make the experience as comfortable as possible. I think it starts with the numbing lounge. Just being able to have a place to hang out and not be rushed so the numbing cream has plenty of time to work before the treatment. You can definitely feel the first pass or two when the injecting starts, but once you get started everything goes numb! The pain after is very minimal, more like tenderness. I like to use the ice pack ElàMar gives me after the injection and it feels fine. The results are totally worth the momentary discomfort though. And they are immediate, so that’s great.”

Can you tell us about your results after getting treated?

“They’re incredible, which is why I’m going on four years of receiving filler and Botox treatments haha. But it’s also about how it makes me feel. Before I had been self-conscious about elements of my appearance. Getting aesthetic treatments has really helped me feel beautiful and more confident. Things I used to be self-conscious about aren’t issues anymore.”

Do you have any advice for people interested in trying Botox or filler for the first time?

“I think it’s important to go in knowing that your treatment may be somewhat uncomfortable, but that the results absolutely outweigh the pain. All you have to do is look in the mirror! For me, it also helped to know that the results are temporary, so you can feel free to experiment without worrying about permanent results or outcomes that you don’t like. Otherwise, just go for it!”

We hope you found it helpful to hear directly from a client’s perspective. It always warms our hearts to know that we’ve made a difference in someone’s life. Thank you so much for sharing your story Casey!
