What To Expect

Before your first appointment, you and your ElaMar expert will discuss your skin concerns, the treatment, its benefits, and your skin goals.
We’ll take a photo to track your skin journey.
After a cleanse, your provider will begin the Skinvive treatment followed by a few aftercare instructions.

After Care

Mild bruising or bumps may occur for a few days following treatment.
Avoid massaging or applying pressure to the injected area for 24 hours.
Avoid heat exposure and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Hold off on facials and other treatments for 7 days after.

How should I prepare for Skinvive treatment?

Schedule skinvive at least two weeks prior to events.
Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores.

When will I see results?

Immediately! Results will peak around 4 weeks.

How long will results last?

6 months. Bi-annual maintenance treatments are essential to maintain results.

Does it hurt?

No injectable treatment is completely pain-free, but most patients find skinvive treatments very tolerable.

How is Skinvive different from Dermal Filler?

While both are injectables made of hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers are injected deeper into the skin primarily to add volume and contour. Skinvive is a lighter substance injected more superficially primarily to hydrate and lightly plump the skin.
